Hello Natarsha, Sorry I am just seeing this now. I have a family member of the bridal party or a teenager in the crowd manage the music, they seem to trouble shoot with much more confidence than me, they will also be forgiven quicker. I take no responsibility from the start of that conversation with couples to manage or play the music. I ask them to outsource this. I do want to know what song and where in the ceremony it needs to be played and I have played the songs off my phone in the past when all else fails, but honestly its rare. A few friends of mine use a device just for the music, so no calls come through its there for the music management only. Ask the people you purchase your PA off to give you a lesson, and record their instructions plus take notes. Show them once they have showed you so it sinks in. I think its great skills to have and be able to handle - its much better than me being overwhelmed and randomly pushing buttons hoping for the best! Ultimately, go with the flow, dont get stressed and ask for help. Sometimes things dont work and that is okay x Gluck!
