Please find below our first members and committee Acknowledgement of Country. This will be an involving piece as we seek feedback and guidance from the First Nation Community. We hope to develop something deep and meaningful to us and the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people that join us here at TUCN. We seek your input, and heartfelt contributions, as this is important to us.
The United Celebrant Network acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we live, work, and celebrate. As celebrants, we are privileged to deliver ceremonies on this beautiful country we call home, recognising the deep and enduring connections that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have to this land.
We pay our respects to Elders past and present and acknowledge the wisdom, culture, and traditions that have been shared for generations. We also welcome the opportunity to listen, learn, and honour these traditions in the spirit of respect and inclusivity.
If any of our members wish to share their cultural heritage, traditions, or stories, we would be honoured to hear and learn from you or your family members, all are always welcome and encouraged.
